Pub manager gives reasons for low hygiene rating as building structure blamed
The manager of a pub & restaurant has explained why the business was given a two out of five hygiene rating.
The Talbot Inn, 13 High Street, Much Wenlock, was handed the unflattering score after an inspection on April 26.
But director Paul Davenport, who runs it with his partner, has explained the reasoning behind the rating, with actual food hygiene not the cause.
He said: "The inspectors came to see us and the rating was down to building and structure work.
