Changes proposed for cars in medieval town
A drop-in session has been arranged to allow residents to hear and comment on proposed changes to parking and road markings in a town.
The meeting in Much Wenlock next week is to allow residents of the town to hear about proposals being put forward to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow in the town’s historic streets.
Working closely with Shropshire Council’s Traffic Engineer and the Town Council, Shropshire councillor Dan Thomas has identified key locations where adjustments to parking restrictions and road markings will make walking around the town even more enjoyable, will slow vehicle speeds and help ease congestion.
