Art exhibition raises £600 for Macmillan

An art exhibition that took place at a medieval village hall along with a coffee morning has raised more than £600 for a leading cancer charity.

Art in the Hall at Little Wenlock Village Hall last Saturday and Sunday saw local artists show off their work.

Along with the art exhibition, a MacMillan coffee morning took part on at the village hall on both days to raise funds for the cancer charity.

Organiser Lena Jarl Churm said the event raised a total of £609 for MacMillan cancer support.
