Secondary school downgraded by Ofsted over behaviour issues despite 'significant progress'
A Shropshire school has been downgraded following a recent Ofsted inspection due to past behaviour issues with pupils.

However, William Brookes School in Much Wenlock "has taken action to improve behaviour significantly" inspectors said, but they still downgraded the school from 'Good' to 'Requires Improvement'.
Ofsted inspectors visited the secondary school in May, and found that while students had “fewer of their lessons disrupted by others” they found that “Pupils’ understanding of fundamental British values is not well developed. This means they are not as well prepared as they should be for life in modern Britain."
They added: “Despite significant improvement in attendance overall and a reduction in suspensions, there is more work to be done.”
