Driver taken to hospital after B4393 crash
A woman was taken to hospital after a crash near the Shropshire/Powys border last night.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the B4393 between Crew Green and Llandrinio at around 8pm.
The female driver was freed from a black Citroen DS3 and taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Her injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The road was closed while police examined the scene until around 2am on Monday.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "At around 8.15pm on Sunday, October 28, Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a collision on the B4393 near Crew Green.
"Police, fire and ambulance attended the one vehicle collision.
"The female driver was freed from the black Citroen DS3 and was conveyed to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"Road closures were in place as the scene was examined and then cleaned.
"The road re-opened at around 2am on Monday, October 29."
A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service added: "We were called on Sunday October 28 at approximately 8pm to reports of a road traffic collision on the B4393 between Crew Green and Llandrinio.
"We responded with two Emergency Ambulances and one patient was transported to the Royal Hospital Shrewsbury.”
