Shropshire emergency crews called out to road crashes
Shropshire emergency services attended two road crashes within minutes of each other today.
Crews were called to the Overdale area of Telford at about 12.30pm when a vehicle struck a wooden barrier.
Two crews based at Wellington Fire Station attended and disconnected the vehicle's battery.
At about 12.50pm a crew in Oswestry was called to the B4396 at Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, in Powys, following reports that persons were trapped following a collision, but the team left the scene a short time later.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "The Oswestry appliance was requested to assist crews over the border. Crews were stood down and no longer required."
