It's smokin' - new restaurant brings another taste of the US to Wrexham
A new Hickory's Smokehouse is to open, bringing the number of the popular restaurants in the UK to 19.
With a Hickory's in Shrewsbury, owners are now launching their latest smokehouse in the region at Sontley, Wrexham, providing around 70 jobs.
While it has an American theme, the restaurant will retain its home grown links, with Wrexham Lager firmly on the menu and a commitment to be a community venue.
Special 'practice makes perfect' evenings have been held in the run up to the opening on Monday, with local residents among those to enjoy a sneak peak at what's on offer.
