Llantysilio mountain fire flares up again
A mountain wildfire which has burned for more than two weeks has reignited again.
Flames from the blaze on Llantysilio Mountain near Llangollen have flared up again and spread close to the main Horseshoe Pass road today.
The road has been temporarily closed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has been at the scene of the fire since it first broke out last month and firefighters are working to control the latest reignition.
The fire spread for a while on Saturday and was later brought under control.
The fire service this afternoon said four crews were dealing with hotspots and fire around the Berwyn quarry area.
People are being urged to stay away from the area and crews are said to be working in 'difficult circumstances' to try and contain the spread of the fire.
