Police are warning motorists to expect delays until July as German energy company Innogy delivers 27 turbines to the Clocaenog Forest, near Ruthin.

The huge parts leave Ellesmere Port at 9.30am and are escorted along the A483 to Chirk where it joins the A5 towards Llangollen.

Work started on Monday and the deliveries are expected to take place until July, subject to the availability of police escorts and prevailing traffic conditions.

Innogy has set up a free text delivery alert service, which you can sign up to by texting the word CLOCAENOG to 88882.
