Llanymynech Am Dram group runs free workshop
Budding actors were able to try their hand at all things dramatic at a new year's workshop.
The day long event was staged by the Llanymynech Amateur Dramatic Society to encourage people to get involved, whether on stage or behind the scenes.
Everyone was made welcome, regardless of their experience, and were able to learn new skills while enjoying each other’s company.
The workshop was held at Pant Memorial Institute.
Sessions included warm-up games, voice exercises, stage make-up, performing poetry, and exploring the 'world of the play'.
The society is a thriving drama group based in Llanymynech and performs in venues throughout Shropshire and mid-Wales.
Alison Utting from the society, said: "Established in 1992, this small group with big aspirations soon gained a reputation for delivering top quality theatre as well as encouraging local writers, musicians and other creatives."
The programme for 2019 includes an original musical piece about Shropshire women, Dirty Dusting, Shakespeare’s Richard III, and An Inspector Calls by J.B.Priestley.
