Road bridge closed to traffic from tomorrow for canal restoration work
A bridge near Pant, Oswestry is to be closed to traffic for six months.
Schoolhouse Bridge in Long Lane, Crickheath crosses a section of the Montgomery Canal which is being restored in a major project.
Traffic will be prohibited from using Schoolhouse Bridge between March 20 and September 30 to allow the reconstruction of a bridge over the canal.
Vehicles are being diverted through local lanes.
The restoration will eventually see the waterway restored between Newtown and the junction with the Llangollen Canal at Lower Frankton near Ellesmere.
