Dyfed-Powys Police community support officer Graham Jennings jumped from a plane at a hight of 15,000 ft in an adrenaline-filled charity challenge.

The Newtown based PCSO, who was voted by the public as the forces We Care award winner in March, has a fear of heights.

But he banished those fears on Friday to raise money for Cancer Research.

Graham donned his Cancer Research UK t-shirt, and even declared afterwards that he will be doing another skydive in the future.

He said: "It has to be the most wonderful thing I have ever achieved. I can't explain how falling from 15,000 ft felt, but it's totally magic and magnificent and yes, I’m definitely going to do it again."

So far Graham has raised £3,500 for the charity, which he said is close to his heart after he lost both his parents to cancer.

Graham added: "I would like to see a time when all people can be liberated from the fear of this dreadful disease.

“I chose the challenge of a skydive for one simple reason, to confront my fear of heights.

"However, this is nothing compared to the suffering that many people have had to endure with their battles against cancer.”
