Restrictions brought in as another case of bird flu discovered in Powys
Bird flu has been confirmed at a premises near Montgomery with the 10km surveillance zone covering parts of Newtown and Welshpool.
An avian influenza protection zone covering a 3km radius centred on the Pentre area and a 10km surveillance zone were declared on Sunday.
There are also two other bird flu zones currently affecting the Newtown area.
The zones require bird keepers in the area to comply with strict rules on movement of birds in the area until the restrictions are changed.
The rules also ban the release of game birds in the area.
