Crash partially closes A458 near Welshpool
Motorists faced delays and a road was closed after a two-car crash near Welshpool today.
The A458 was partially closed at Middletown, between Trewern and Halfway House, while the road was also closed at Shrewsbury, near the Winnington Green junction following the collision which happened at about 6.50am.
The collision involved a black Vauxhall Insignia and a white Mitsubishi Colt.
Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Service said two crews from Welshpool attended the scene. The people in the vehicles got out before the emergency services arrived.
There were no reports of serious injury and the road was clear by 8.35am.
