Homes without water
Residents in Welshpool were without water yesterday.
About 50 properties lost their water supply early in the morning with 14 homes still without water by 4pm.
A burst pipe is thought responsible for the loss of water in the Borfa Green area of Welshpool.
Ria Gaffney from Severn Trent, said: “Our teams are currently fixing a burst water pipe on Croft Road, that’s causing a handful of our customers to have little or no water.
“We’re really sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re working hard to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.”
She said that bottled water had been delivered to the 14 properties without water.
