Three arrested after robbery victim found with significant injuries
A man has been taken to hospital with significant injuries after three men were arrested on suspicion of robbery in Welshpool.
Dyfed-Powys Police was made aware of an incident in the alleyway behind Iceland in the town, at 3.40am on Sunday.
A 21-year-old man required hospital treatment for significant injuries, and he had personal property stolen.
Three men were arrested and one, Adam Steven Gough, has been charged and will appear before the town's magistrates court.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "The victim, a 21-year-old man, required hospital treatment for significant injuries.
"Personal property was stolen from the victim during the incident.
"Three men from Welshpool were arrested in connection with the incident.
"Adam Steven Gough, aged 21, of Borfa Green in Welshpool has been charged with robbery, as well as assault by beating in connection with a separate incident, and has been conveyed to Welshpool Magistrates’ Court.
"Two men, aged 22 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on bail."
