And they are asking for the public's help.

Chief executive, Shaun Dean is one of 19 employees taking part in the Macmillan Cancer Support 10 Day, 5k Challenge which started today.

Each member will complete 5k - 3.1 miles - each day for ten days by walking, running, cycling or even horse riding.

Team Invertek members will take part individually within Covid-19 regulations in England and Wales.

“Cancer is being referred to as the forgotten ‘C’ at the moment. COVID-19 has had a huge impact on people living with cancer and their families during this time and so we want to do our bit to help such a worthy cause,” said Bryony Wilson, a member of the company’s customer services team based at Welshpool, Powys, UK, who organised the event.

Anyone wanting to donate towards the challenge can visit macmillan-email.org.uk/P55-6WYRJ-4O7YAW-441D84-1/c.aspx or share the page with friends, family and colleagues.
