Woman taken to hospital after three-vehicle crash near Ellesmere
A woman was taken to hospital after a three-car crash near Ellesmere today.
One car ended up on its side and another in a hedge after the crash in Hordley just after 6.30am.
Murray MacGregor, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "At 6.19am we were called to reports of a three-car road traffic collision, with everyone out of the cars.
"One car was on its side and one was in a hedge.
"A female patient in her 30s was treated. Her car had suffered driver-side damage and came to rest on its passenger side.
"She was helped out of her car and given pain relief and taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital."
Firefighters used cutters, spreaders and small gear to make the vehicles safe.
The fire crew was sent from Ellesmere.
