Crash on the A53: Firefighters called to morning rush hour collision at Market Drayton
Firefighters were sent to a crash on the A53 at Market Drayton this morning.

In 1245 King Henry III granted a charter for a weekly Wednesday market, giving Market Drayton its current name. The market is still held every Wednesday and attracts residents from all over Shropshire. The town is also home to Muller dairy and sausage maker Palethorpe's bakery.
