Warning as children seen climbing on roofs in Market Drayton
Parents in Market Drayton have been warned to tell their children not to climb onto any roofs.
The warning follows reports of children climbing on the roof behind the town centre post office.
Constable Mick Sturland, of the Market Drayton safer neighbourhood team, said: "On Thursday evening, we had a call about kids on the roof behind the post office.
"This isn't the first time this has been reported. Not only is it potentially illegal, but the roof areas are also potentially dangerous and unstable.
"The last thing we want is for any of them to take a nasty fall.
"Please parents can you remind your children not to climb onto any roof."
