Sandy Lane, Woore Road, Audlem, will be closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday and Tuesday(SEP18-19).

Work is taking place to repair the damaged parapet following the accident.

A statement on behalf of Cheshire East Council said: "Following a road traffic collision two-way lights have been in place for safety reasons.

"As part of the repair process, a short daytime only road closure is required from September 18 to 19.

"Following this, the two-way lights will be placed back on and the repair finished on September 20.

"We understand that there is no right time to undertake works in such a busy road as Woore Road and this has been planned to try and minimise disruption to local residents, businesses and members of the travelling public.

"Whilst every effort will be made to maintain vehicular access to your property/business at all times, due to the nature of the site, it is inevitable that some inconvenience will occur and point of entry may vary."
