Cows rescued from overturned trailer in Market Drayton
Two cows were rescued by firefighters after a cattle trailer overturned in Market Drayton.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the crash on the A529, Newport Road, at around 5.45pm on Monday.
Four crews attended the scene including the incident support unit and the rescue tender, mobilised from Market Drayton and Wellington stations.
An operations officer was also called to the scene.
The cattle trailer had overturned and was righted by a Hiab crane on the rescue tender, and the two cows were rescued and transferred to a second trailer.
West Mercia Police and a vet were also at the scene.
