Elderly woman taken to hospital after car rolls on to roof near Market Drayton
A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital after the car she was driving rolled on to its roof near Market Drayton today.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A525 Audlem Road, Woore, at about 3pm.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to free the women who was trapped in the vehicle.
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended but was not needed.
The woman was treated for minor injuries at the scene and taken in an ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital as a precaution.
