Shropshire photographer's brewing pics make award shortlist
A Shropshire photographer is in the running for a national photo competition.
Josh Sedgley has been shortlisted in the EEF Manufacturing Photography Competition, which is open to amateur and professional photographers alike.
Josh, of Napley Heath, has three entries in the young photographer group for pictures taken at the Joule's brewery in Market Drayton.
One of his images is of grain at the brewery.
The competition's theme, 'celebrating everyday manufacturing', encouraged entrants to capture British products, components or processes in creative or abstract ways.
The winners will be announced at a celebration event in Westminster on November 20.
Prizes include a share of £5,000, a day’s training course worth up to £800, an MP-guided tour of the House of Commons and a year’s membership of the Guild of Photographers.
The winning photos will also be displayed in ministerial offices, at EEF premises across the country, at the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards 2018 and EEF National Manufacturing conference and dinner, and at railway stations around Britain.
