Market Drayton man admits wounding and assaulting a woman
A Market Drayton man has pleaded guilty to wounding a man and assaulting a woman.
Jason Butter, 31, was due to stand trial at Shrewsbury on Tuesday after previously denying charges over relating to an incident dating to December 2, 2016.
But prosecuting barrister Mr Oliver King told the crown that the defendant had change of heart after an amendment.
Judge Peter Barrie told Butter, of Maer Lane, Market Drayton, all options were being kept open.
He will be sentenced next month and the case was adjourned until next month. Butter was granted conditional bail.
