Candle flicker at Market Drayton property sparks fire false alarm
Fire crews to rushed to a Market Drayton property only to find that a passerby had mistaken a flickering electric candle for a blaze.
A crew from Loggerheads and an operations officer arrived at the premises, in Sycamore Way, shortly after 8.05pm last night, but there was no incident.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service posted on social media network Twitter: "@SFRS_MDrayton Pump mobilised at 20:06 on Thursday along with pump from #Loggerheads and @SFRS_atm in support to reported property fire in #MarketDrayton.
