Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash in Market Drayton

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after a crash in North Shropshire.

Teams from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Mercia Police and the air ambulance were called to Maer Lane, Market Drayton at around 5.20pm.

It comes following a crash between a car and a motorcycle.

Two fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton and an operations officer was in attendance.
