Bonfire blaze spread to hedgerow prompting call to fire fighters
A bonfire got out of control and spread to a hedgerow, causing a fire crew to be called to put it out.
One fire crew from Prees was sent to Shrewsbury Road in the town at 10.52am on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said it was a "bonfire which had spread to nearby hedgerow."
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a fire fighting back pack to put it out.
The danger was declared over at 11.19am.
