Passenger escapes with minor injury after car rolls on to roof off A41

The occupants of a car that rolled off the A41 and came to a stop on its roof escaped with only one minor injury between them, firefighters say.

The Renault had come off the road and rolled on to its roof near to the Clive Barracks at Tern Hill, Market Drayton at approximately 9.45pm on Christmas Eve.

On arrival at the scene, a crew from Market Drayton Fire Station found the car surrounded by small trees.

No one was trapped in the car and only one passenger suffered a minor injury.

The crew assisted West Mercia Police in making the scene safe, and were soon available to attend further incidents.
