Man killed as car ends up in water in Shropshire crash
A man in his 20s has been killed in a car crash in Wem.
Emergency services were called after the car he was driving struck a number of trees before becoming partially submerged in water.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash which happened at about 1.30am on Saturday on the B5065.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Formal identification has yet to take place, however, his next of kin has been informed.
Police inquiries are ongoing.
