Wem road closed as crews tackle chimney fire
A road in Wem was closed as firefighters tackled a chimney fire.

Two crews were called out to tackle the fire in the flue of a terraced property in Mill Street, shortly after 7.30pm on Friday.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service temporarily closed Mill Street at the Tilley Road junction and asked motorists to avoid the area.
Two fire appliances were sent, including the aerial ladder platform and firefighters used chimney rods and a hosereel jet to tackle the fire.
The incident was over just after midnight.
