Driver feared trapped in A49 crash near Whitchurch
A driver was feared trapped in a car after a crash near Whitchurch today.
The accident happened on the A49 at Willeymoor Lock just outside the town at 6.40am.
Firefighters went to the scene amid fears that someone was trapped but the crew from Whitchurch said the driver was out of the car when they arrived and they made the vehicle safe.
The road was blocked while the emergency services were at the scene.
