Fire crews tackle blazing dog's kennel in Whitchurch
Firefighters were called to a fire in a dog's kennel next to a house in Whitchurch.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting the fire, which was classified as a house fire, at 7.01am on Wednesday, and sent crews from Market Drayton and Prees. An operations officer was also in attendance.
When they arrived at Ightfield Heath they found that the incident involved a dog kennel measuring one metre by one metre that was next to a house.
They used a hose reel jet and donned breathing apparatus to tackle the fire before sending their incident stop message at 7.29am.
