Man told frightened couple they had 'pathetic lives' as he assaulted them in street tirade
A man who ranted and raved at a frightened couple in the street has appeared before court.
Brian Stockton pushed the man while shouting and swearing at them in Whitchurch.
Stockton, 38, of Meadow View Road, Whitchurch, admitted common assault and using threatening words and behaviour likely to cause alarm, when he appeared at Telford Magistrates on Tuesday.
Miss Sarah Beddow, prosecuting, said the incident happened in February in Whitchurch.
