A car and a luxury holiday are among the prizes on offer at the event to raise funds for The Movement Centre, which supports children with movement-related conditions.

The event will be held at Henlle Park Golf Club in Gobowen on October 6.

The club has been supporting the charity, which is based in the grounds of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital, for the past two years.

Last year members raised nearly £7,000.

Men's captain Tony Davis said: “We are delighted to support The Movement Centre

“The event is gearing up to be a fantastic day. There are still places and sponsorship opportunities available. We hope it will be a great success.”

Entrants will be competing for a golf break donated by sponsors, Club Choice Ireland.

Oswestry based Arthurs Vauxhall is also supporting the event by offering a car for a hole in one.

Other prizes include Garmin golf GPS systems.

The Movement Centre's Curtis Langley said: “We are so grateful for the fantastic prizes and to everyone who has supported the event so far,

“It is events like this that enable us to continue our
