Car crashes into wall near Oswestry
A driver escaped injury today when an estate car hit a wall, blocking a main trunk road in Shropshire.
The accident happened on the A483 on a narrow section of the road at Sweeney, just south of Oswestry, blocking the road.
Large queues of traffic built up on the main north/south road through Wales and traffic had to be diverted.
The accident happened on the Sweeney Bends between Oswestry and Llynclys.
West Mercia Police say the driver was uninjured and the road was reopened to traffic just after noon.
