New Costa Coffee brings six jobs to Welshpool
Coffee house chain Costa has opened a branch at the former Pinewood Cafe building in Welshpool, creating six jobs.
Area manager Brice Perdereau, for Costa Coffee franchisees Larentia, which runs the Welshpool and Newtown branches, said: “We’ve had a lot of interest and people coming in from the moment we opened.
"At the moment we’ve decided to open on weekdays from 7am to 6.30pm, but some people have suggested that we open at 6.30am.
Alessio Dyfnallt, commercial director at from Cooper Green Pooks, which handled the letting, said: “We are delighted to have completed this sale to such a high profile brand.
"Broad Street provides good customer footfall with other well-known retailers nearby and Costa will no doubt thrive in this busy market town.
“We are now offering the Pinewood Tavern next door for sale and expect good interest in the property.”
