WATCH: Would-be Oswestry thieves caught on door CCTV
An Oswestry man has released CCTV footage showing suspected thieves approaching his home and hiding in bushes.
The man, who lives on Croeswylan Lane, had his home targeted at around 7pm on Sunday evening.
The footage, from a CCTV camera in the front door, shows one man approaching his door and knocking on it as he attempts to hide his face.
When there is no answer, he realises there is a camera in the door and at this point sensor-triggered lights come on.
The man goes to leave the property, with two accomplices appearing from the bushes and leaving with him.

The property owner, who does not wish to be named, wants to warn Oswestrians that criminals are operating in the area.
He said: "He came to the front door and when knocking he realised there was a camera and covered his face.
"I just want to make people aware that there are people like this operating in the area.
"It is quite scary really."
