The Cast of Beauty and the Beast

The Stiwt Theatre in Rhos, near Wrexham is hosting Beauty and the Beast with performances today (Saturday) Sunday and Easter Monday.

It is the first Easter panto for the venue which stars Matt Lapinskas, who played Anthony Moon in Eastenders as Gaston.

Others include leading lady Rebecca Roberts as Belle, pantomime favourite Kyle Corrin as French Luis, much loved Wrexham performers, James Humphreys as the Beast, and Rob Stevens as Dame Dolly Doughnut.

Michael, who usually stars in and directs the Christmas pantomime, is staying behind the scenes this time to focus his attention solely on directing the production.

He said: "Although it's going to be strange not getting up on stage and performing to the brilliant Stiwt audiences, it's actually been really brilliant to focus purely on the direction of the show.

"Each and every member of the cast is immensely talented and completely dedicated, I truly believe this is the best pantomime production the Stiwt will have ever seen. It's going to be a really slick show."

Lee Kelly, producer, said: "The cast are amazingly talented, the direction from Michael is superb, the music is fantastic and the humour has the audience in complete hysterics."

A few tickets are still available.
