While the site has not been confirmed, funding for the project has already come in from Oswestry company, Aico.

This year ‘Aico in the Community’, is focusing on helping young people to tackle prevalent issues such as deprivation, education and mental health.

For the first of the fundraising efforts for 2021, Aico colleagues took part in a virtual quiz, bringing the team from across the UK together.

Colleagues were raising money in support of the Social Farm Projects within the Marches Academy Trust and managed to raise £1,494.86.

The Social Farm initiative involves the students helping out with planting within an allotment, maintenance and cleaning of a social farm as well as animal care.

The trust says this allows for the teachings of practical and valuable skills.
