Unattended bonfire left for fire service to deal with
A bonfire was left unattended on a business park near Oswestry, leading to the fire service being called out.
A bonfire was reported soon after 6pm today, at the Whittington Business Park.
One fire engine was despatched, and the firefighters used a hose as well as rakes, shovels and mattocks.
A brief statement from the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews extinguished a bonfire left burning unattended.
"The stop message was received at 6.25pm."
