Four crews, including a rescue tender, were sent from Oswestry and Wellington to Bramblewood Close, at Chirk Bank, on Tuesday night, to reports of a fire where persons had been trapped.

When they arrived they found a vehicle had left the road and gone down a embankment. But they reported no persons trapped, and made the vehicle electrically safe.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was over at 12.22am on Wednesday.

The crews were assisted by North Wales Fire Service
