Fire crews come Knockin to rescue person locked in bathroom

Firefighters were sent to the rescue after someone got locked in their bathroom.

The incident happened at a home in Chapel Lane, Knockin Heath, Oswestry, on Saturday night.

A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 9.16pm on Saturday, July 30, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident in Oswestry.

"This incident relates to an individual requiring assistance due to being locked in their bathroom.

"They were released by fire service personnel using small tools

"One fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch."
