Ellesmere slimmers win up to £187,418 each in postcode lottery
Ellesmere's Slimming World group had special cause to celebrate at their latest meeting after 10 of the group's members were given thousands of pounds from the People's Postcode Lottery.
The amounts slimmers won varied from £3,206 to £187,418 and group leader Yvonne Urquhart also handed out several weight loss certificates congratulating members on losing half a stone, two stone, three stone and four stone.
On a whole the group lost 1,750 lbs in December.
The group meets on Tuesdays at Ellesmere Town Hall at 9am, 5pm and 7pm.
