The Arboricultural Association has invited Mr McBride from Ellesmere to give a talk tomorrow (Wed) at 6pm. People can register to take part through trees.org.uk/Training-Events/Online-Learning.

The association recently named him as one of its heroes for campaigning to save ancient trees.

He said: "This is a TREEmendous distraction to the current situation."

"Getting outside and enjoying trees can be wonderful for our physical and mental health."

Mr McBride began his walk across Offa's Dyke searching for ancient trees eight years ago and hopes to complete it this year.
