Boiler leak at specialist college sparks call for help to fire service
Firefighters stepped in when a fault in a boiler room caused problems at a specialist college near Oswestry.
A fire crew from the town responded to the Gobowen-based Derwen College's call for help at 9.45pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crew found a leak from a boiler room which was pumping hot water.
The incident was brought under control by 10.12pm.
Derwen College provides education for young people with special educational needs.
