Fire service called after two-year-old girl gets locked in car
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service had to be called after a two-year-old girl got locked in a car in Oswestry.
The fire service said they were called out to Almond Avenue in the Gobowen area of the town just after midday, after the toddler had been accidentally locked in the car for ten minutes on Friday.
A spokesperson said a fire engine was dispatched from Oswestry, where the crew used small gear to open the door and free the child.
She added that the little girl was uninjured and was returned to the safe hands of her parents five minutes after the fire service arrived.
