RSPCA faces tough Christmas with 3,500 animals in care - including 22 adorable dogs, cats and rabbits in Shropshire
RSPCA teams are preparing to care for more than 3,500 animals this Christmas including a record 1,500 cats.


Boasting more than 600 listed buildings including the Castle and world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey - home of the fictional Brother Cadfael - Shrewsbury is a must visit place. The county town is the birthplace of Charles Darwin and is within a loop of the River Severn providing beautiful riverside walks. The town is also home to Shropshire's only football league side.
