Fire in bedroom of Shrewsbury home
A man was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Shrewsbury.
Two fire engines from the town's station were at the scene at Millennium Gardens this afternoon at 5.20pm.
The fire happened in a bedroom of the property and a 28-year-old man was treated by West Midlands Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation but was not taken to hospital.
Racecourse Crescent was blocked while fire crews dealt with the fire in the property, which was put out within 25 minutes..
Hoses have been used to put out the blaze but firefighters remained on scene clearing smoke.
