Man pulled from water in Shrewsbury river rescue
A man had to be rescued from the river at Shrewsbury.
The man went in to the water at Welsh Bridge.
Emergency services, including firefighters from Shrewsbury and Baschurch with the water rescue unit, were sent to the scene at 11.37pm on Friday.
The man was rescued from the water by police.
An ambulance was also at the scene.
